“Having worked his craft on the facade of the Grad Palais in Paris  and at the former Sacre Coeur church in Morocco, Miguel Chevalier brings his fantastical video installations to Hong Kong. Merging observations of the natural world with digital manipulation, Fractal Flowers is a sublime procession of computer-generated plant forms, which arbitrarily germinate, grow and wilt. While paying tribute to the possibilities that technology brings, the exhibition also grapples with the question: to what extent can the artist exercise control over his art?”
